Meet Marc Patience, PhD
I see relationships as living, evolving entities with their own needs, dreams, and challenges. Just like individuals, relationships can get stuck in patterns like repeating arguments, growing distance, lost trust, or silence where there used to be connection. As a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a former military psychologist with over 11 years of experience, I partner with couples to uncover what’s keeping them stuck and apply proven strategies to help them move forward. My work is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with a focus on helping couples navigate the often challenging stresses that come with committed relationships.
[expander_maker id=”1″ more=”Read more” less=”Read less”]What I bring to the therapy room is a deep commitment to being useful. I will work just as hard as you do in this process. Together, we’ll face challenges, not with judgment, but with clarity, curiosity, and courage. I’ll guide you through techniques that may feel unfamiliar at first, but are grounded in research and real outcomes, and that will in time become foundational rhythms in your relationship. I believe deeply in the power of relationships to foster growth, meaning, and resilience. And while it may not look like a movie montage, I know that with commitment, effort, and the right support, couples can find their way back to each other, often stronger than before.[/expander_maker]
